On 15TH August , the Rotary Club of Asansol Green City celebrated the city 79th anniversary of Independence with great enthusiasm, zeal and pride at Shaheed Sidhu Kanu Free Primary School. The program started with Rotarian President Rohit Kyal hoisting the tricolor and after that everyone sang the national anthem. Shaheed Sidhu Kanu is a free primary school, in which the Rotary Club of Asansol Green City celebrates Independence Day every year with great pomp. The children of the school presented many patriotic dance songs which were very captivating. After the program, all the children were given breakfast and school bags, copies, chocolates, stationery kits etc. were distributed.
