About our club: RC Asansol Green City
Our club was chartered in the RY 2017/18 sponsored by RC Asansol Greater with Charter President the, then, Rtn Dipak Agarwal. Rtn Agarwal left the club soon after due to his business assignments and engagements handing over the Presidential duties and responsibilities to Rtn Vivek Khaitan, who completed the rest of the tenure very efficiently and sucessdully.
We conduct our Rotary’s weekly meetings in Asansol Club every Friday from 8.00PM.
We, the members of RC Asansol Green City are all very young in age compared to the age group of most of the Rotary Clubs in and around us. This is one of our plus point.
During this short span of 8 years in Rotary, we have completed a no of Projects for the benefit of the Society and the community we live in. Constructing a no of drinking water Tanks near famous Temples in and around our vicinity for the benefit of the devotees/ adopting a Home for the destitute women where give them permanent job for their livelihood /adopted a FP School where we have constructed their mid day meal shade, hand wash basins, distribute books and copies, have installed playing equipments for the pupils and other related things like that/ distributed Radium stickers to the cyclists for their benefit of driving in dark/ Donatig water purifier in some of the famous places, are some of them.
Our member Rtn Bibek Burnwal has also represented our District as zonal Membership Chair.
We look forward to serve our Society and our Doistrict in some bigger way in the days to come.
